What's Happening In My World This Week
Hey everyone, Happy Sunday! I just got back from HPMK, (High Point Market), in High Point, North Carolina. It is like visiting Disney- go, go go. A lot of walking all day, you are exhausted by the time you are dropped off at the hotel. :) It is fun to see all the new products and meet new people.
I have been really busy this week playing catch up. Working on a few different projects I will share soon. I wanted to take the time to give you a quick peek of what caught my eye when I was at the market.
L&DS Lighting and Design Studio
Below was a LA Design Firm that makes their own custom furniture. Notice the balled feet. (I did not care for the extremely modern look myself):

One of my favorite shops I visited was the colorful Design Legacy:

If you noticed the ceiling in most all of the buildings, they are old mills converted into showrooms for the twice a year Market.
Loved all of the colorful fabrics!!
I also wanted to let you know that I did not win the 3D render contest I entered. :( Thanks to all that voted and thanks to those that tried! It was really complicated to vote wasn’t it? Well, at least I tried and put myself out there.
