Color Swap

I think it is so interesting that some of the colors between Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams are so similar. For instance: Ben Moore Revere Pewter HC-172: revere pewter

There is actually a list I have been adding to over the years. These colors not only look the same they also match based on their RGB values. A color's RGB value indicates its red, green, and blue intensity. Each intensity value is on a scale of 0 to 255, or in hexadecimal from 00 to FF. Ben Moore Palladian Blue HC-144: bm palladian blue

Sherwin Williams Rainwashed SW 6211: sw rainwashed

So similar. This must be why these two colors are both so popular! Ben Moore Manchester Tan HC-81: man tan   Sherwin Williams Softer Tan SW 6141: SW7641sw6141 Maybe your painter only uses Sherwin Williams paint but you had your heart set on BM White Dove OC-17 for your trim color. SW has a match that looks exactly the same. It is called Greek Villa SW 7551. Ben Moore Classic Gray OC-23: bm classic gray

Sherwin Williams Zurich White SW 7626: sw zurich white

I also wanted to share with you that I received an email yesterday that stated, “We're writing to let you know that you've been voted by the Houzz community as a winner of our Best of Houzz 2015 awards!" I was so excited! Hooray! houzz badge I am off to Sarasota, FL tomorrow. I am hoping it is sunny and warm! Thanks everyone!
