Company is coming! Sound the alarms and get going on making your front porch beautiful!That’s is what I woke up thinking this Saturday morning. Having guests coming to stay is THE best motivator to get your home ready for the season.When planning, it doesn’t have to be fancy or expensive to set up a pretty front entry! After you decide if the door will be painted this year, or not, the next piece to consider is seating. Do you have enough room for a bench or a great chair and pillow?Or rocking chairs rock! I love sitting on the front porch and rocking back and forth, back and forth. So relaxing!

Something with personality that makes you smile. I like to use my Mexican blanket and throws I purchased on vacation to bring some color in:Plants! Of course bring in a few pots of colorful flowers to welcome the Summer :If you have a very large porch to decorate, be sure to pull everything together, (chairs, table, plants) to form a seating area. Just like in your living room, bring in an outdoor colorful rug to tie it all together:
