Hey everyone! I hope you  (and your loved ones) are staying healthy and taking care of yourself during this difficult time. I thought I would share a few decorating projects I have been working on at home:Choosing a paint color for bedroom wall:I love our new bedroom that has lots of space, but it seemed to need some drama, something bold to showcase and highlight the room so we decided to paint the wall behind the bed. I wanted to find a color that would bring out the light green in the comforter:Because colors show up lighter on walls than paint chip sample, I thought Benjamin Moore Scenic Drive 697 would be a good color to start with. Following my own rules I preach to you all, I stopped and picked up  a sample can and painted a poster board with Scenic Drive:I did love the medium color with the dark wood of the bed, but I wanted to try a step up lighter to sample- Ben Moore Pleasant Valley 696:And here are the two samples together. Pleasant Valley is on the left:Pleasant Valley is the winner! Trying to take full advantage of my husband being home, he said he would paint this weekend- wow! Mike had a great idea- we are going to call the paint store, if they are open, and order the paint on the phone and pay for it. We will let the store know we are on our way to pick up and they can leave it outside by the door for us. Trying to keep going in this crazy time and have to be creative with thinking.  I will have after pictures of the bedroom next week to share.Project Three: Last weekend I got Mike to paint one wall in our living room. (He is my hero lately!)  The same problem I was having with needing some interest and drama in the bedroom, I really felt it in our living room. Just kind of boring. I thought aboutwallpaper:But it was going to be soooo expensive and time consuming. Plus I thought it might be too busy for the room.  Paint to the rescue! I am loving pinks and navy lately so why not paint it pink? haha:I absolutely love it! Very subtle and beautiful. Mike likes it too. Here is a concept board I had fun putting together for our living room decorating plans:Here is a sneak peek of our progress:I just ordered the fuchsia pillows today online. Can’t wait to share when room is completed!I hope you are enjoyed! Let me know what you think of my color choices, love to hear! Thanks for stopping by.Stay safe my friends!Kelly xo
