Color Crush: Black Exteriors
Although I have seen a couple homes I liked when painted black, it never struck me how much I would come to LOVE them. Look at this house below:
She is now fixing up an old barn and wanted it to blend in with the surroundings. We looked at greens and dark gray greens, but she wanted to go richer and darker:
Her stone will look fabulous with a darker color:

I really love the raw, natural wood color with these darks!

If you are looking for a black without a blue undertone, Wrought Iron is not the one. This photo above is a good example of how most colors, even blacks, have undertones. My client tested and she loved the Wrought Iron but did not care for the navy blue showing through.
Funny how you don’t care for trends and then all of a sudden- BAM. Love them. I hope to be able to share the after photos with you.
